This audiovisual content consists of the two premier, legacy workshop series created by Louisiana Folk Roots (LFR) from 2001-2006: Fait à la Main (Handmade) Workshop Series (FALM, 2001-2005) and Routes to Roots Workshop Series (2005-2006).
These instructional workshop series of Louisiana's Cajun, Creole, and Native American cultural traditions were supported by grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council as administered by the Acadiana Arts Council. Contributing videographers included Michele Boulet (FALM, 2001 - 2003), Eric Breaux (Routes to Roots, 2005 - 2006), and Scott Morris (Routes to Roots, 2005).
The digitized audiovisual files accessible here were made possible from funding (in part) by a Preservation Implementation Grant from the GRAMMY Museum®.
