Water Hazard Perceptions in Jackson, Mississippi: Community Interview Transcripts from the NSF EPSCoR HydroRise Project

Abstract

This file contains the complete set of de-identified interview transcripts collected during the HydroRise Jackson data collection events, held at Union Market and the Refill Jackson Initiative in Jackson, Mississippi, between June and September 2025. The document begins with a title page and front matter section describing the collection's scope, identifier key, de-identification statement, citation information, and structural notes for the file.

Following the front matter, transcripts are organized into two sections, each opening with a divider page summarizing that site's collection details:

  • Section I - Union Market (Hinds County): Interviews J1-J25, collected June 21, 2025 (25 interviews).
  • Section II - Refill Jackson Initiative (Hinds County): Interviews J26-J37, collected on September 13, 2025 (12 interviews)
  • Section III - Refill Jackson Initiative (Hinds County): Interviews J38-J68, collected across on September 20, 2025 (31 interviews)

In total, this file contains 68 de-identified interview transcripts. Each transcript is labeled with its unique "J" identifier, corresponding to the numbering system described in the front matter.
